About the web site
JournalClub web site was conceived and developed by Dr Ian Back, a consultant in Palliative Care working in South Wales, UK. Whilst trying to keep abreast of the rapidly changing professional world of Palliative Care, it felt as if so many of the activities - like going to the library to look through journals, scanning web sites for new guidelines - were being duplicated by so many people.
The web site was developed for personal use initially, to automate and streamline a lot of this work, and it is hoped that by sharing the results it will help others.
The project is non-profit making and receives no sponsorship from any commercial organisation.
